SocEnt | Africa | ICT | MSE | BOP Information and communication technologies are unlocking new opportunities for low- and middle-income earners in developing countries to improve their quality of life. At the same time, the use of ethical market-based solutions over pure charity provides a means of sustainably addressing major societal challenges. This blog looks at how we might harness these trends in technology and business to unlock massive nascent growth and system-wide value creation at scale. In doing so, I'll focus in particular at the case of micro- and small-sized enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa. To me, they are the Smoke that Thunders.
